WinSCP Session Configuration Guide
This document will provide an illustrated step by step guide to create and store a login session into your hosting server. It is assume that you have already downloaded and installed the WinSCP software. If not, please click here to setup and install the WinSCP software first.
1. Double click on the WinSCP program icon. A login screen like the one below
will appear. Make sure that the port number is 22, and that the protocol is
'SFTP (allow SCP fallback)'.
2. At the 'Host name' field, input your domain name (e.g. mydomain.com.sg).
At the 'User name' field, input your provided user ID (e.g. mydomain).
3. Click on the 'Save' button. A prompt will then appear for you to label the
saved session. Once you have provided the input, click on the 'OK' button.
4. You should be able to see your saved session like the one below. To connect
using the saved session, select it and click on the 'Login' button. A prompt
will then appear asking for your password. Enter your password and click on the
'OK' button. You will then be logged into your domain account.
