About Myself

Hello, my name is Lai Zit Seng. I'm Male, Chinese, Singaporean, 31 years old this year, born 25th February 1972 in the Year of the Rat. I stand at 1.73m tall and weigh 61kg most of the time. I would describe myself as an easy-going, fun-loving person who enjoys the company of friends. I have a younger sister, and we and our dad live together in a home off Yio Chu Kang Road in Singapore.

I'm a Senior Systems Engineer in the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. If you are interested, you can find out more about my work. I work a 5 day week.

I have lived my entire life in Singapore, although in several places before my current home in Seletar Hills off Yio Chu Kang the last 15 years. Prior to this, I stayed in Tai Keng Gardens off Upper Paya Lebar Road (1980 - 1984), Marine Parade (1976 - 1980), and Changi (1972 - 1976).

I used to have a hyperactive dog called Dexter who is quite camera-shy. Dexter chases anything that moves (he tries, usually unseccessfully, to chase flying things too). Amazingly, he has managed to catch birds on two occasions. It's quite comical to think about it --- the bird flies low, Dexter springs up and catches it with his mouth (accidentally killing the bird both times). Although Dexter is physically quite small, he has gone about chasing bigger-sized dogs like Alsations. Dexter passed away in 1999 at the age of about 13 years.

We've got a new dog called Cheyne, a pure-breed Golden Retriever. I'll update this page with more information about him another time.
